The Forest, an animated short film by Ori Sinai. I'm a Film Student, currently completing a BA degree about directing film at Ealing Studios, London. I've always been interested in different kinds of films, especially films that have unique use of music or animation.
This abstract short experiment in animation was created as a part of “experimental film class”, the idea was to create a film without using a video camera. It is an attempt to create a realistic look of movement using only photographs. By using digital movement I tried to create believable optical illusion of movement in the frame by programming every layer without using 3D virtual cameras. This is my first attempt at creating something this complex visually. I used four different programs to create all of the visuals. This project was quite a challenge due to the fact that I have never learned animation. - Ori Sinai
