Lara Jade
I have always been interested in art since a very early age. I picked up my first camera around the age of 14. However, my first experience with photography was at school during my GCSE, I’d research photography for my projects and one day I came across photography websites, it inspired me to want to try it myself. After a year of college I decided to try out model portfolios and I’d charge a certain amount for a few photos per shoot. After a year of this (at the age of seventeen) I registed my business ‘Lara Jade Photography’ and carried on shooting model portfolios and various shoots for dancers/actors/singers and bands. On the side of this I’d ‘test’ for my own portfolio.
The money from my shoots went back into investing in better equipment - I started off using a basic PC with Photoshop and a Canon 350d and kit lens to purchasing a Canon 5D with 50, 85 and 10-22mm lenses and a Bowens lighting kit. I signed up with my agency Sudest57 last summer and I have been testing with them for the past couple of months. So far I’ve shot for Leo Burnett advertising agency in Italy for a sushi advertising shoot and I'm currently testing for Lavazza.
